    Cityfibre teams are working urgently to identify the cause and restore services as quickly as possible. CityFibre field engineers and third-party engineers are on site and have carried out OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) tests. These tests help determine how far network traffic can travel along the fibre before it fails, which in turn indicates the location of a fibre break. Initial results from CityFibre indicate that the fault lies within one of our third-party networks. We are now working closely with our third-party provider to confirm this and pinpoint the exact location of the break. Next Update: 13:00, 04/05/2025
